1. Overview

Cuberix ("we", "our", "us") operates the Ambigram mobile application (the "App") available on iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By downloading or using the App you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of data, primarily through automated means:

2.1 Usage & Analytics Data

  • App features used, screens viewed, session duration
  • Generated ambigram count (no content of your words is stored server-side)
  • Crash reports: stack traces, device model, OS version, app version
  • Remote-config fetch events (for A/B testing and feature flags)

Collected via Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC).

2.2 Advertising Identifiers

  • IDFA (iOS) or GAID (Android) — only if you have not opted out at OS level
  • IP address (approximate location for ad targeting)
  • Ad interaction events (impressions, clicks)

Collected by Google AdMob. Ads are not shown to active subscribers.

2.3 Purchase & Subscription Data

  • Purchase transaction IDs and timestamps
  • Active subscription status and entitlement (e.g., "premium")
  • Product purchased (Weekly / Monthly / Yearly subscription; 5 / 10 / 25 credit packs)
  • Subscription expiry date and renewal status
  • RevenueCat anonymous user identifier (random UUID — not linked to your name or email)

Managed by RevenueCat, Inc. Payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your credit card number, billing address, or any raw payment credentials.

2.4 Device Information

  • Device model and manufacturer
  • Operating system and version
  • App version and build number
  • System language and time zone

4. In-App Purchases & Payment Data

All payment transactions are processed exclusively by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never handle, receive, or store your payment card details or billing address.

The App offers two categories of in-app purchase:

4.1 Auto-Renewing Subscriptions

  • Weekly Premium — renews every 7 days
  • Monthly Premium — renews every 30 days
  • Yearly Premium — renews every 365 days

RevenueCat stores your anonymised purchase receipt, active entitlement, and expiry date to verify your Pro status across app reinstalls and devices. No personally identifying payment information is shared with RevenueCat.

4.2 Consumable Credit Packs (One-Time Purchases)

  • 5 Credits — single purchase, used immediately
  • 10 Credits — single purchase, used immediately
  • 25 Credits — single purchase, used immediately

Credits are stored locally on your device in app preferences. They are consumed when you generate ambigrams or change styles. Consumed credits are not recoverable; no server-side credit balance is maintained.

Each third party is contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for its stated purpose.

7. Your Privacy Rights

All Users

  • Opt out of personalised ads via iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking or Android Settings → Google → Ads
  • Request deletion of analytics data by contacting us at cuberixapps@gmail.com
  • Uninstall the App to remove locally stored data

European Economic Area (GDPR)

  • Right to access — request a copy of your personal data
  • Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your data
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a portable format
  • Right to withdraw consent — at any time where processing is consent-based

California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

  • Right to know what personal information is collected about you
  • Right to delete personal information
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
  • We do not sell your personal information

8. Children's Privacy

The App is rated 4+ on the App Store and Everyone on Google Play. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). In-app purchases require parental/guardian consent or account ownership on the respective store platform. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us at cuberixapps@gmail.com and we will promptly delete it.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard safeguards to protect the limited data we process, including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) for all API communications and the use of security-certified third-party processors (Google, RevenueCat). However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong device passcodes and keep your OS updated.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when we add features, change vendors, or are required to do so by law. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
